Traditional bowl cuts receive only around 5 per cent of the vote, while the pixie crop performs considerably better but still lags behind longer styles.
Shine also plays a key role in perceived attractiveness. In the same survey, 72 per cent of men said shiny hair is particularly sexy. Men frequently add that they want hair that looks and feels touchable—not stiff, crunchy, or overloaded with styling products. Those soft, flowing waves are most appealing when they seem effortless, healthy, and natural.
